Inspired by a postcard bought in 1978, preserved a long time, I knew that one day I will paint it, but I did not know very well which technique I was going to use.
The particularly hot light of this photograph had touched me and this emotion had me to be retransmitted.
The medium used is oil on canvas. The key nervous and is posed by small cross squares. The color is sometimes mixed directly on the canvas.

The proud man dominating his height the world ?
The photograph having inspired to me was in black and white, it is thus quite naturally that work was carried out into monochromic with one of my favorite colors: gray of Payne.

Mysterious woman, you contemplate your heart by closing the eyes and feeling softness of this cat close to you…
Soft ? Not as certain as that!
A long time the solarized photograph of this woman haunted me by her colors, also I posed it on the fabric by handling the colors with delight and happiness.
This oil on cavas is the fruit many successive stages before the result with this final version.

Sheep-fold in Vanoise

This sheep-fold given up in the Park of Vanoise allured me at the time of an excursion.
It seems me to remember that it was about a course at the beginning of the village of Aussois, near Bonneval-on-Arc.
It is especially the light given by the hiking trail which attracted my glance on the background of the mountains located at the shade.

The only key of added color is that of the mouth. This pensive face seems to breathe of the perfumes whose subject appreciates the emanations.
